Anyway- reading my sisters' copy of twilight- haha, it's not particularly great. It's written in that ubiquitous style which is really hard to describe, but you'd recognise it, only the author adds in no charm or personal quirks or anything to elevate it beyond 'meh'. And the characters? If you look at it from the point of view of the main character, she's obsessive bitch who's target of interest is a mysterious, beautiful boy who appears to hate her as much as he can. Also he has no friends, because he's a snobby dickwad. Also, lol at author's attempt to make main character relatable by making her the clumsy and unpopular girl at her old school.
tl;dr- Twilight is lame, there's no denying it. It's averagely written and the characters are douchebags. It's just the fans who make the book noticable and funny.
I only read the first page, and it was just so painfully mediocre. I mean, christ. I think it was about a city that rains alot. How fucking inventive, rain. And wasnt the main chick moving there or something? Retards.
